Last 2 prints created for Cambridge Open Studios. Both familiar Cambridge subjects: cyclists and punting on the backs. I’m trying to avoid cliche in the way the scenes are shown, I am also using my own memories of living there (and that did involve a lot of birthday punting trips and wobbly cyling!)

Ta-dah! I don’t hang about, really chuffed with this and think I may do some thing with lots of Cambridge cyclists next? There are 31 photoshop layers if you are interested in that kind of thing…Midsummer CommonFB

Hopefully this Midsummer Commonis going to be a good one. Beginnings of a print for Cambridge Open Studios, depicting cows on Midsummer Common, Cambridge. I struggled trying to draw cows earlier this week –  but I think I have cracked the weird body shape! I will post the final image later this week.

I’m now working on the run up to my first open studio in Cambridge, July 20th – 21st and here’s an early first look at a new print.. ‘Hare in the cow parsley’ The easiest way to keep up to date is through my Facebook page. If you are in the area come and say hello! You can always buy online too in my ETSY shop. I have a 3 page ‘to do’ list and am very excited (and a bit apprehensive). Have a look at the COS website to see all the other exhibiting artists and their fabulous work..
