This is my daughters drawing of an Angler fish, which she drew aged 4. I love it because it’s gone from imagination to pencil in a nano second and is honestly refreshing. There is no reference to anything else seen and half remembered, no sub conscience influences or hesitancy. I guess at 4 your mind is a blank canvas, where as mine is cluttered with things I have half seen and part remembered with a bit of self doubt chucked in – do things look ‘right’?
